I must say that I am still not that upset over my van breaking down! I went to town today and gas was $4.06 - that is outrageous! I am sitting here shaking my head - how much higher can it actually get!
I am missing my son more than ever- I am looking forward to next week when he is out of school and he just will stay here! Funny how much I can miss his constant arguments and back talk! lol At least I have something to look forward too and it will be nice to have him for a few months- his dad will take him on a few mini trips over the summer- but he will be here more than there. I need to make up for the two weeks he has not been here- oh its only been a week but it feels like two weeks!

Yeah, that's pretty crazy for gas. However, it has dropped by over $10 per barrell in the past week or so. I doubt the trend continues but it could be a slight drop in gasoline prices by the time your van is back on the road.
Not having a van will give you an excuse to get out and have some fun with your son. I'm sure he's as excited about it as you are.

It's likely more wishful thinking than fact but if the trend continues (unlikely) it could drop some. Depends on how generous the greedy oil companies are. We have regulated prices where I come from so when the crude prices drop, the price of gasoline usually does as well.
Getting out for walks is fantastic for you! I wish I wasn't so damn lazy and got out as well. Time to break out the bike I think.

I am lucky I can walk to the local stores - when I need chocolate - I NEED CHOCOLATE and I'll run for that! lol
lol...I have that weakness too. I can walk to the store for it, no problem, but climbing that massive hill to get back home makes me wonder if it's worth it. hehe

The Lord gave me a word of knowlege that gas prices will go up to 5.45 by thanksgiving and food prices fruits 12% rise and bread and others 10% rise by thanksgiving. amen

The gas prices are sickening. I laugh because I bike to the grocery store, library, and park with my boys, but then I drive to the gym!

It's just as bad here. I filled up yesterday and it was $3.96 for regular unleaded.

It is so sad that gas keeps going up - I either have to dust off my bike or get a motor bike! lol
