Man did I miss my little man! As soon as the car pulled up I was out of the chair! That was a long week without seeing my son and I understand now how parents feel when custody just doesn't allow visits - I couldn't go every other weekend neither could his father. I am so sure now that we made the right decision now regarding custody!
I can't believe I actually think that I did something right! Wow it feels good just to know that this choice was the best for all of my family!!!
So we spent the afternoon at a cookout - in the extreme heat! So we stayed inside til there was shade. The kids had a blast - but then again why wouldn't they! Great yard - trampoline (which my landlord would never allow) bikes - a four wheeler - horses - dogs! I don't like the dogs but I like watching the horses - they are so beautiful! So anyway the kids took the hose up on the trampoline and had fun! We brought over our slip and slide - but that wasn't a hit- I don't think it was working right- it use to have a sprinkler and two slides and a pool at the end- the sprinkle didn't seem to be working all the great!
Oh how could I forget - I went treasure hunting this Saturday!! I love out town wide yard sale! I got a great lamp for $3.00 (for Dylan's room) - I found luggage with wheels - had to put in the wheel part because I had bags before- so next vacation I am all set!
And I got two for $1.00 a piece and then my best friend found one for me at another spot and she paid $3.00! I also got a basket thing- it has three baskets, hanging - for $1.00. We got two scooters for $2.00 and four play station games for $1.00 each! Kassidy HAD to have two purple starkly lights for .50 and a cat leash - which we don't have a cat!
The only thing I am sad about is that I missed all the flowers at the church! I was running behind and they sold all the plants before i got there- I'll remember to hit that 1st next time!
Hope everyone stays cool for the next few days! I lugged the air conditioner up and reluctantly put it in- AHHH there goes my electric bill - I was so proud this month - my bill was only $19.57! It pays to unplug everything! lol

Hey sounds like you had a great day out . I wish we had friends that we could chill out with.
If this weather continues getting hotter we will remain in the house! It has been extremely hot for the past three days - tomorrow is going to be worse! I need a pool - SOON!
We only hang out with a few people - I am very picky as to where I will bring my children! I still actually like to just stay inside - if my kids would allow me I would just stay home! It is very nice to take the kids over there - its so much fun for them!
I love reading how happy you are! So glad you got to see your kiddo. It is amazing how much joy kids can bring to our lives! You are influencing me in my decision for custody with my ex. Thanks!
Life sure has its ups & downs, but with good friends & family nothing is too big to handle. Happy you had a wonderful weekend, may you have many more.
