Too busy to post lately - so I am stopping in for a minute! This weekend my niece is graduating high school! I am still in shock - I remember the day she was born! I am so amazed she grew up with a blink of the eye- she has grown into a beautiful young woman and I just can't wait to see what the future has in store for her!
My stepson graduated Th grade on Tuesday! I actually cried - I was there when he graduated preschool! He also has just grown too fast. Throughout the years I have had my own personal issues with him - but things are looking up now. I can't believe he is going into ninth grade- what a shock! Now his father really needs to have that dreaded talk with him! It is a scary thing to think about but he had him when he was in the tenth grade! OUCH - only one more year! We don't want him to follow in those footsteps for sure!
Kassidy is now entering the second grade! This just amazes me - darn it she was just born! What the heck is going on! lol She has grown too darn fast- I wish she would just stop. She is too cute now and our relationship has grown stronger - she is a doll! My daughter is so understanding and caring and thoughtful! I am so proud of her!
Dylan is entering the Th grade! Wow he managed to pull it off even though he blamed me for his low grades for him missing assignments when we went to Florida! lol My little man - the reason I live and breathe (also goes for my daughter) brings tears to my eyes when I think about him hitting his teenage years! I am learning to trust him more and give him a little more freedom- but NOT much! He is still my baby and I can't handle him growing up - I have had a hard time dealing with the fact he is going to be 13 next month!
My children are my world and I couldn't be a prouder parent! They both are truly amazing! I love them with all my heart and soul!

They do grow up too fast, but each stage brings something new and exciting.....
They just do that growing up stuff right before our eyes! And, if we should turn our backs just for a moment......wow!
Now you have gone and made me weepy Jaime! They do grow fast and really shouldn't do that to their parents. don't they know that is causes heart ache?

Perhaps it isn't how darn fast they grow, but the simple
reality of "that we get older watching?
